The listed resources explore three different concepts for our first grade scholars. The first link explores objectives related to sculpture. The selected project, inspired by artist Alexander Calder, provides step by step instructions to complete the objective. The second link is to a "Pinterest" posting. The concepts explored at this site are related to landscape portraits and layering of elements. Once you have entered the site, simply click the "magnifying glass" icon located at the bottom right of the instructional image. This will enlarge the image so scholars can read the directions. Please note if you want to enlarge the image on a PC, hold "ctrl" down and tap the "+" button. If you have a mac, hold "command" and tap the "+"button. This will enlarge the screen so you can view the directions better. The third link is inspired by Marc Chagall and the surrealism movement. The project explores dual media concepts as well as how to create paintings and drawings based on emotions and dreams. Enjoy these projects. New postings will happen weekly.
